After graduating from Izmir Deulcom international Advertising and Public Relations department, she started working in the tourism sector. Gülhan Aktuğ Eren ended her 15-year active working life in a managerial position in 2015 to concentrate on her passion. The art of painting, and improved her technique by taking private lessons, trainings and workshops for more than four years from valuable painting teachers such as Eylem Kayırıcı, Atalay Mansuroğlu and Asuman Savuk. Gülhan Aktuğ Eren, who was influenced by expressionist and abstract art movements and reflected these styles in her own paintings, participated in many international exhibitions and fairs in her home country and abroad, and exhibited her works at Club for UNESCO Piraeus & Islands International Art Fair in Greece and Boris Georgiev City Art Gallery & Museum in Bulgaria. She exhibited in Varna, IAAF Istanbul, Büyük Club Art Gallery, Barış Manço Cultural Center and Mayfair Gallery Marquez in London. Gülhan Aktuğ Eren, whose works she exhibited at the last Izmir Art and Antique Fair (İAAF 2024) were purchased by collectors, continues to work to create new works with acrylic and oil paints in her own art studio where she is happiest.
