Emerging Ceramic Artist Istanbul –Turkey, b.1975 Moved in Wales 2009 I am currently in my second year of the Artist, Designer, Maker BA program at Cardiff Metropolitan University, based at the Coleg Gwent Campus, specializing in ceramics. As an artist and designer, I craft abstract sculptural objects that serve as mediums for self-expression and connection with others. My creative process is influenced by elements of nature, childhood experiences, and socio-cultural contexts. I firmly believe that art is a powerful tool for personal expression and communication, bridging the gap between individuals and their environment. I create abstract forms that not only satisfy the viewer’s aesthetic sensibilities but also reflect social and psychological experiences. Drawing inspiration from the natural world and the complexities of human life, I strive to evoke a sense of connection and resonance in the viewer, engaging their thoughts and emotions. As an emerging ceramic artist, my mission is to create works that are both environmentally sustainable and ethically produced.
