Nasim Yazdani

Nasim Yazdani is a globally inspired visual artist whose work bridges cultural boundaries and celebrates diversity and inclusivity. Born with a deep curiosity about the world, Nasim views Earth as her country and art as her universal language. From her childhood, Nasim Yazdani discovered her passion for painting and pursued non-formal art education at different art institutes, which led to formal art studies and establishing a lifetime career in the visual arts. Her works have been showcased in many solo and group exhibitions across the globe, including Iran, Türkiye, France, Italy, and the UK. In 2024, Nasim was awarded the People’s Choice Award (Best in Show) at the Doncaster Open Art Exhibition. Her art has been recently featured in ‘101 contemporary artists and more…’ by Collect Art, Georgia and the ‘Emotion’ exhibition book by Cista Arts, UK. As a member of the New Bath Arts Club (NBAC), Nasim is excited to engage with a vibrant community of artists and will be exhibiting alongside other established creatives in Bath every year. Additionally, Nasim is collaborating with the Persian Manuscripts Association, exploring the intersection of contemporary art and Persian cultural heritage. Beyond exhibitions, Nasim strives to spark meaningful conversations through her art, encouraging viewers to reflect on shared human experiences and the urgent need for unity. Acrylic paint is her medium of choice, allowing her to layer vibrant textures that mirror the complexity of human emotions. Her recent collection, The Essence, intends to reflect the implications of being human as part of the greater fabric of the universe. This series of abstract paintings transcends skin and flesh to explore subjects like interconnectedness and oneness. In the second phase of this collection, The Essence: Shadows, she explores the challenges that humans endure, but also the resilience that emerges from them. Using a palette of deep blacks, rich hues, and chromatic greys, this series studies the emotional weight of adversity. Layered textures and contrasts between beams of light piercing through waves of darkness mirror the tension between despair and hope, sparking reflection and revealing that within every shadow lies the potential for healing and renewal. Darkness is never static; it breathes, shifts, and ultimately makes way for light.   Artist CV Nasim Yazdani Bath, UK Website: https://nasimyazdani.com Instagram: @nassimyazdani LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/nasimyazdani-ef Professional Memberships and Collaborations – February 2025 – Present Professional Member, New Bath Arts Club (NBAC), Bath,UK – September 2024 – Present Board Member, Persian Manuscripts Association, London, UK Education – September 2024: MA Children’s Publishing (Distinction) Bath Spa University, Bath, UK – June 2016: Visual Arts Certificate – Painting (Distinction) The Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR), Alborz- Iran Group Exhibition; Juried & Invitational 2025 (Upcoming) • Euro Expo 2025, Forli Art Fair, Forli, Italy • New Bath Arts Club Annual Exhibition, Walcot Chapel, Bath, UK 2025 • Espacio Art Gallery, London, UK 2024 • Emotion Art Exhibition 2024, Cista Arts, England, UK (Online) • Bodrum Contemporary Art Fair (IAAF: Bodrum) 2024, Bodrum, Türkiye • Doncaster Open Art Exhibition 2024, Doncaster, England, UK (Online) o Winner of People’s Choice Award (Best in Show) 2024 • Connections Art Exhibition 2024, Liberation Art Gallery, England, UK • Muse Art Exhibition 2024, Fox Yard Studio, England, UK • İzmir Art and Antique Fair (İAAF) 2024, İzmir, Türkiye 2018 • Euro Expo 2018, Forli Art Fair, Forli, Italy • Group Exhibition, Ayrik Gallery, Tehran, Iran • Group Exhibition, Ehsan Gallery, Tehran, Iran 2017 • Nidra Art Group Exhibition, Idil Gallery, Istanbul, Türkiye • Euro Expo 2017, Forli Art Fair, Forli, Italy • Contemporary Artists’ Group Exhibition, Milad Tower Gallery, Tehran, Iran • Sintesi Group Exhibition, Artisti Iraniani a Roma, Fonderia delle Arti, Rome, Italy • Shafagh Gallery Group Exhibition Open Call, Tehran, Iran • Manifest Group Exhibition, Abaci Gallery, Istanbul, Türkiye • Jonction (Exposition D’ Artistes Iraniens), Linda Farrel Gallery, Paris, France • Magic of Water Lilies, Group Exhibition, Alborz, Iran • Harir Honar Group Exhibition, Milad Tower Gallery, Tehran, Iran • Group Exhibition, Sirous GhaemMaghami Gallery, Alborz, Iran 2016 • Saadabad Complex Exhibition, Group Exhibition, Tehran, Iran • Blue Gold Open Call, Etemad Gallery Website • Peace Colour Open Call, Milad Tower Gallery, Teheran, Iran Solo Exhibition 2018 • Permanent Exhibition, Klavierhaus Kamran Vahdat, Innsbruck, Austria 2015 • Magic of Colours and Flowers, Alborz, Iran 2013 • Surreal Dreams, Alborz, Iran 2012 • Suspension, Alborz, Iran 2010 • First Steps, Alborz, Iran Selection of Painting Collections • The Essence: Shadows, 2024-2025 • The Essence, 2024-2025 • Symphony of Features, 2023-2024 • Shattering Dreams, 2022-2023 • Faces, 2016-2024 • Surrender to Music, 2018 • Evolution, 2015-2018 • Maze of Peace, 2015-2018 • Optical Illusion, 2015-2016 • Magic of Waterlilies, 2016 • Magic of Colours and Flowers, 2014 Art Magazines & Publications Featured • Collect Artwork (2024) 101 contemporary artists and more: Nasim Yazdani.
