ABORIGINAL SONGLINES
This exhibition is an invitation to remember an ancient knowledge that lives beyond the visible landscape, hidden within the memory of the land. In Aboriginal culture, songlines are not merely paths; they are invisible maps where sound, rhythm, and existence become one. The connection between human, nature, and cosmos is rediscovered through line, color, and symbol.
Zerrin Türen’s works emerge from an encounter with ancestral narratives experienced in Australia and reinterpreted through a contemporary visual language. Dots, figures, and symbolic forms are not only aesthetic elements; they act as carriers of memory.
